For the second year running a BMC guidebook has made it into the final of the prestigious Banff Mountain Book Festival.

Stanage – The Definitive Guide, published earlier this year, is up against seven other books in the Mountain Exposition category. Last year the category was won by another BMC guidebook to rock climbs in the Peak District, Burbage, Millstone and Beyond.

113 entries from nine countries were whittled down to 26 finalists in seven categories. See the Festival website for a full list of 2007 Book Finalists.  The winners will be announced at the book festival during the evening presentation on Thursday 1 November.

Stanage – The Definitive Guide can be purchased from the BMC online shop or by telephoning 0161 445 6111.
Price: £17.00 BMC members / £18.99 non-members
