Awesome Walls Sheffield grand opening this weekend!

Dave Douglas of Awesome Walls would like to invite all BMC members and friends to join him on a day to remember. Saturday 12 October 2013 will be the grand official opening of Awesome Walls Climbing Centre Sheffield - National Performance Centre.

After successfully hosting the British Lead & Speed Climbing Championships last weekend, this weekend sees the official opening party of Awesome Walls Sheffield, which is the first wall in the UK to be granted the status of National Peformance Centre by the BMC.

Included in the days activities is an Awesome raffle to win a six-month pass, three-month pass, one-month pass, one-week pass, AWCC T-shirt, AWCC hoody, AWCC Buff, AWCC mug, set of Rockfax Peak guidebooks, 2 x Vertebrate Graphics Font guides or £150 worth of Mammut gear plus other prizes!

Everyone that climbs on our Official Opening Day will be entered into a draw to win one of the above.

Schedule for Saturday 12 October
1000 - Doors open
1200 - The Lord Mayor of Sheffield cuts ribbon
1300 onwards - Awesome BBQ
2000 - Climbing stops; Tunes get turned up; Drinks & BBQ into the night....

50% off AWCC T-shirts and hoodies all day afterwards .
10% off all passes over one month
.
Free celebration cake for all.

DJ Tunes played all day.
The Mammut Team will be present with new equipment to try.
