"Adopt A Crag" claims its first success!

The BMC is in the early stages of promoting an "Adopt A Crag" scheme in England & Wales. The aim of the scheme is to get clubs directly involved with the maintenance and upkeep of their nearest and dearest climbing area. Often, it is not the crag that needs work, but the area around it.

You couldn't make it up: A grey and dark, but dry day, a dozen excitable SWAT* volunteers (one of whom was the cover star for "Climb" mag this month), a load of frightening looking equipment, and the best cake I've eaten in years.
