e-Newsletter November 2018
Welcome

At its best, autumn gives us cold, clear, beautiful days in the hills and mountains. And with snow already having dusted some of the tops, winter is not far away.

Many thanks to everyone who pledged to the Mend Our Mountains: Make One Million crowdfunding drive this autumn. The £118,500 crowdfunding total has helped the overall appeal climb to a fantastic £520,000 – already enough to make a big difference in repairing paths and controlling erosion. Watch this space for updates as more milestones are reached over the remaining five months of the appeal.

There are also a few places left on the first ever BMC hill walking symposium, which is all about getting new skills, inspiring volunteers and tackling big issues. The programme has just been announced – head here to find out more and sign up.
