Competitions Committee
The Competitions Committee, as per the current Terms Of Reference for this committee, oversees the development of competition climbing in Britain, and is responsible for the organisation and promotion of the various British Climbing Championships, including setting the rules. It is also responsible for oversight and delivery of the Development Squad, which provides the pool of climbers from which the GB Climbing Team is selected for international youth competitions.

3 gold medals, 1 bronze for GB Paraclimbing Team at Briançon
It was an amazing performance by the GB Paraclimbing Team in the first IFSC World Cup of the year at Briançon, France. Great stuff all round and awesome to see the team earn three gold medals and one bronze.
5th for Will Bosi at Chamonix IFSC Lead World Cup
An amazing weekend for Will Bosi as he became the first British male to make an IFSC Lead World Cup final in nearly 30 years. And if that wasn’t enough, he also set a new British record on the Speed wall.
Nicky Spinks becomes the first person to run a double Ramsay Round
“After that I relaxed and enjoyed the last 10 hours even though my feet were full of blisters.” At 7.56am on Monday 2 July, Nicky Spinks became the first person to tick off a double Ramsey Round. That's right, she ran the classic British fell running challenge, which takes in 58 miles and 24 peaks including Ben Nevis, twice. It took her 55:56:38. Sarah Stirling interviews.
