Welcome

Summer is in full swing and we’re sure you are all making the most of this extraordinary weather. Whether you’re heading to the hills or the crags, make sure you do your bit to prevent moor fires.

June’s historic AGM brought in a new constitution and the BMC’s first ever female president; Lynn Robinson. Thank you if you voted in the AGM, you can continue to get involved at your next local area meeting.

And to cap it all off, we’re still buzzing from the BBCs! Last weekend saw the highlight of the competition climbing year: the British Bouldering Championships, hosted in Sheffield, was streamed live on the BBC. You can catch up on iPlayer here.
