Thanks to your votes, Mend Our Mountains, our groundbreaking crowdfunding drive for upland paths won Campaign of the Year at the TGO Awards. You can also influence the National Grid’s proposals to install giant pylons on the edge of the Lake District by responding to its consultation.

2017 is already lining up to be busy and exciting, with lots of BMC events on the horizon including the ever-popular Youth Climbing Series and the International Rock Climbing Meet.

The BMC office will be closed over Christmas and New Year; you can still buy travel insurance online for any last-minute getaways.

Our Christmas closing times
Phew! That's 2021 nearly done with. As usual, we'll be closing over Christmas and New Year. The BMC HQ will be closed from 12.30pm on Friday 24 December, and we'll open again at 9.00am on Tuesday 4 January 2022.
