e-Newsletter August 2016
Welcome

Our announcement to rebrand the BMC as Climb Britain met with an unprecedented response. We’ve been listening intently since then and each of our next Area Meetings (1-14 September) will include a full discussion of the rebranding proposal attended by senior staff and board members. So whether you’re an old stager or first timer there couldn’t be a better time to come along and get involved.

As the Olympics get under way in Rio, we’re very excited by the news that sport climbing will feature in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.

Today marks the start or our #WomenOutdoors Week campaign, aimed at getting more women into and sticking with climbing, hill walking and mountaineering.
