e-Newsletter December 2013
Welcome

Seven of the UK’s top climbers and one of the world’s most respected hill walking experts have become the first-ever BMC Ambassadors; they’ll be helping to raise our profile and inspire more people to get into climbing and hill walking. Greg Mulholland MP joins us as our new parliamentary sports fellow, and we’re also on the lookout for a Regional Development Officer.

Looking ahead to 2014, the incredibly popular BMC Youth Climbing Series returns in January. We have a series of subsidised courses aimed specifically at students planned for next year too. We also take a look back at some of the highlights of 2013.

The BMC office will be closed over Christmas and New Year, but you can still buy travel insurance online for any last-minute getaways; and if you’re looking for some Christmas present ideas, pop into the BMC online shop and see what we’ve got to offer.

Season’s Greetings,
Dave Turnbull, BMC CEO
