e-Newsletter January 2013
Welcome

Bowline or figure of eight? Whichever knot you use to tie on, you can’t afford to make a mistake with this vital link in the safety chain. Following a recent accident involving well-known climber and author John Long, we’ve produced a short video showing how to tie a bowline and stopper knot.

If you want to go on an expedition but aren’t sure how to go about it, or have some experience and wish to extend your knowledge, our expedition planning seminar at Plas y Brenin on Saturday 12 January is the place to be.
