Welcome

The international mountaineering community has been shocked by the death of former BMC general secretary Roger Payne.  We will be holding a memorial in Manchester on Saturday 8 September, and everyone is welcome to attend.

From the launch of London’s bid to host the Olympics in 2012, a key element was the legacy the Games would leave behind.  One of the latest beneficiaries of this legacy funding is Gloucestershire Mountaineering Club, which will now be able to improve its club hut facilities.
