BMC organisational review now underway

Posted by The BMC on 09/05/2017
Organisational review of the BMC is now underway.

Further to discussion by National Council over the AGM weekend, the independently chaired review of the BMC’s governance and organisational structure is now getting underway.

Ray Wigglesworth QC is chairing the process and the membership of review group is being assembled. Ray – an active climber and mountaineer – was appointed as Chair following the BMC National Council meeting on 23 April 2017.

The review group will sit for a 4-6 month period after which there will be widespread consultation amongst BMC membership and Area Meetings in the run up to the April 2018 AGM.
