Full of Myself is the long-awaited autobiography of ‘Stone Monkey’ Johnny Dawes. Echoes of a Dream tells the life story of Alan ‘Richard’ McHardy, one of the pre-eminent climbers of the the 1960s and 70s. No Shortcuts to the Top is the gripping and triumphant memoir of Ed Viesteurs, the first American to climb all 14 8000-metre peaks. Mountain Heroes is a visual celebration of those who have risen to the challenge of the highest mountains on earth. Prelude to Everest tells the fascinating story of Alexander Kellas, his pioneering work on high altitude physiology and his contribution to mountaineering from the 20th century to the present day.

The Long Hope DVD features Dave MacLeod and Andy Turner making the first free ascent of the direct line up Hoy’s St. John’s Head, and creating the hardest sea cliff climb in the world. Smitten is the new adrenaline fuelled rock climbing and BASE jumping film from Australia. Moonflower DVD follows top British alpinists Jon Bracey and Matt Helliker as they honour their late friend Jules Cartright by following his original vision of making a stunning and formidable new line on Mt. A revised and updated edition of Rock Climbing, the definitive ‘how to rock climb’ textbook, is now available. Also out is a new guide to the diverse sport climbing on the limestone cliffs of Finale on Italy’s Mediterranean coast.

North York Moors is the latest addition to the British Mountain Map series; it’s the only really detailed map to cover this whole area on a single sheet. A new map covering the Franchard, Bas Cuvier and Apremont areas of Fontainebleau includes named and graded circuits and a photographic overview of individual boulders.

A perfect companion to the new British Mountain Map is Day Walks in the North York Moors, featuring 20 circular routes between 5 and 14 miles in length, suitable for hill walkers of all abilities. The High Fells is a pocket-sized guide featuring ten of the finest walks on Lakeland’s tops, whilst Lakeside Walks gives the same treatment to ten of the best routes besides the Lake District’s most well-known lakes. Walking in Sardinia describes 50 day walks in the highest, wildest and most dramatic parts of the Mediterranean island.

Trail Runner’s Guide to North Wales takes you on 15 great runs along the beach, through fields and forests, and up hills. Mountain High covers in detail 50 of Europe’s great cycle climbs, including many of the iconic climbs of the Grand Tours.

Following the success of our limited edition print of Tremadog, we’ve now added two more Phil Gibson prints to the shop – the iconic Clogwyn du’r Arddu and the distinctive Rock Hall Cottage at the Roaches.
