The BMC Cymru South Wales Area Meeting will take place at Boulders Climbing Centre in Cardiff on Tuesday 17 April 2018, starting at 7.30pm.
Come along to Cardiff for our next gathering of South Wales climbers and walkers and get involved in the BMC.
Area meetings are run by volunteers and provide an opportunity for you to discuss issues and influence decisions affecting climbers and walkers locally and nationally.
The meeting will be attended by BMC Technical Officer Dan Middleton, and will include discussion on a sustainable bolting policy for the area.
BMC ORGANISATIONAL REVIEW: latest developments
The independent organisational review group published its amended recommendations report in March, following which National Council established a working group to develop proposals for implementing the review’s recommendations. The working group has now published its proposals, and the April area meetings offer an important opportunity for members to provide feedback and influence the final version of these proposals, which will be presented to members for approval at the BMC AGM on 16 June.
