The 2016 BMC LakesFest will be held over the weekend of 13-15 May and be based at Rosthwaite Village Hall in Borrowdale; come and join us for some great climbing and walking.
Volunteers are busy making preparations for the festival.
Accommodation will be available in the village hall, and there are nearby campsites, camping barns and climbing huts.
The legendary Cumbrian ceilidh band Striding Edge will no doubt get everyone dancing on Saturday night.
There will also be a talk about Lake District eccentric Millican Dalton, the self-styled “Professor of Adventure”.
The festival will coincide with the launch of the new FRCC guidebook to climbing in Borrowdale, and the final round of the BMC Cumbria Bouldering League at King Kong Climbing Centre in Keswick.
Further information will be added as and when details are finalised.
