The BMC Peak Area Meeting will be held at the Globe Inn, Glossop on Wednesday 9 September 2015, starting at 7.30pm.
Come along to our next gathering of Peak climbers and walkers, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC.
The area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in the Peak as well as the rest of the country.
Discussions will include rope erosion at the Roaches, and a proposal for a photographic archive project. There will also be information about the Women's Climbing Symposium taking place on 17 October at The Climbing Works in Sheffield, and staff from the BMC office will be attending for a Q&A session.
Emma Flaherty talk and slideshow
Emma recently climbed Royksopp, Font 8a at Rocklands, South Africa. She will be talking about her climbing journey, preparation for climbing her first 8a and about her future plans.
All are welcome; food will be provided.
