The BMC South West Area Meeting will be held at the Nova Scotia Hotel, Bristol on Thursday 23 April 2015, starting at 7.00 pm.

Come along to our next gathering of climbers and walkers in the South West, to discuss the latest issues and get involved in the work of the BMC

The area meetings are run by volunteers and are your chance to join in with debate and influence decisions about what happens in the South West as well as the rest of the country.

Discussion topics will include the continuation of the ClimbBristol (Avon Gorge Climbing Regeneration) Project, planning for the Cornish Climbing Festival, and new routes in Frome.

All are welcome; the BMC will provide food.

The BMC (British Mountaineering Council) is the representative body that exists to protect the freedoms and promote the interests of climbers, hill walkers and mountaineers, including ski-mountaineers. The BMC recognises that climbing, hill walking and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions.
