Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this comment so I hope it reaches the right person.
I have just received the latest copy of the BMC magazine 'Summit' and was disappointed (though not completely surprised) to find that there are no articles on hill walking. There are a couple of articles on trekking and a small promotion of the 'new to hill walking' booklet with the rest of the magazine given over to climbing in one form or another. As the BMC supports mountain training (the reason I joined) which includes hill, moor and lowland walking, it seems remiss not to include articles that support that area, if not because promoting hill walking is one of the stated aims of the BMC. I would be great to see all your readers given a reason for looking forward to receiving a copy of Summit. Thanks, Andy Courtier
