Cliffhanger - countdown to outdoors fest
BMC President Rab Carrington represented the climbing community at the press launch of Cliffhanger, which marked the start of the countdown to Sheffield's outdoors festival on 11-12 July.
BMC Expedition Awards 2009
In 2009 the BMC has been able to award £11,800 to climbers involved in 10 innovative expeditions. It has also offered its Approval to six others.
BMC hosts UIAA
The BMC hosted a meeting of the International Federation of Climbing and Mountaineering (UIAA) at Plas y Brenin on 15-17 May, under the leadership of former BMC President Mark Vallance.
