BMC Youth coach training weekend 2022

Posted by James Mchaffie on 20/04/2022

On 9th and 10th July there will be a weekend of highly subsidised training courses for young people who are interested in getting into coaching climbing.

This coach education weekend will be held at The Depot in Sheffield.

Ian Dunn & Katherine Schirrmacher will deliver a FUNDAMENTALS 1 on the Saturday and a FOUNDATION COACH TRAINING on the Sunday. Young people can sign up for either both the days or just one day. The Fundamentals will cost £25, and the Foundation Coach training costs £25 for the day instruction + £49 for registration with Mountain Training for the scheme.

You will need to arrange your own accommodation and food.

Parents of under-18s must fill in a parental consent form which should be sent to james@thebmc.co.uk as soon as possible after booking.
