YCS 2020: Round 3 Start Times

We hope you’re all looking forward to the third round of the Youth Climbing Series 2020 this Saturday 7 March. The format for the boulder round is two and a half hours, ten problems and five attempts per problem. You can find the start times for your region below.

North East & Yorkshire
Registration opens 30 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.
Breifings will take place 10minutes ahead of each climbing start time. 

Climbing start times: 
Category E       - 9.00am
Category D       - 10.00am
Category C       - 11.00am
Category B       - 12.00pm
Cateogry A       - 1.00pm

North West & Lakes
Registration opens at 9.15am till 10.00am.
There will be a briefing for volunteers at 10.00am.
There will be a briefing for competitiors at 10.20am.

Climbing start times:
10.30am            - Youth E, D, C, B, A (all categories)

Wales
All male categories will start climbing in the morning.
All female categories will start climbing in the afternoon.

Male timings:
Registration        - 9.00am
Breifing              - 9.45am 
Climbing starts   - 10.00am (Male Youth E, D, C, B, A only)

Female timings:
Registration        - 12.00pm
Breifing              - 12.45pm 
Climbing starts   - 1.00pm (Female Youth E, D, C, B, A only)

Midlands & Peak
Registration takes place 1 hour and 10 minutes ahead of your climbing start time.
A volunteer briefing will take place 40 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.
A competitor brieifng will take place 15 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.

Climbing start times: 

10.30am                    - (Youth C, D and E only)
12.30pm                    - (Youth A and B only)

London & SE (North)
Registration opens for all between 8.30am till 12.45pm.
Please be mindful of those who need to climb earlier in the day.
A volunteer briefing will take place 45 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.
A competitor briefing will take place 15 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.

Climbing start times: 
10.30am                      - (Youth E and D only)
11.30am                      - (Youth C only)
12.30pm                      - (Youth B only)
1.30pm                        - (Youth A only)

London & SE (South)
Youth B and C will climb in the morning.
Youth A, D and E will climb in the afternoon.

Youth B and C timings:
Registration             - 9.00am till 9.45am
Briefing                    - 9.45am
Climbing starts         - 10.00am (Youth B and C only)

Youth A, D and E timings: 
Registration              - 12.00pm till 12.45pm
Briefing                     - 12.45pm
Climbing starts         - 1.00pm (Youth A, D and E only)

South West (North)
Registration opens for all between 9.00am till 1.00pm.
Please be mindful of those who need to climb earlier in the day.
A briefing will take place 15 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.

Climbing start times: 
10.00am                      - (Youth E and D only)
11.00am                      - (Youth C only)
12.00am                      - (Youth B only)
1.00pm                        - (Youth A only)

South West (South)
Registration takes place 1 hour ahead of your climbing start time.
A briefing will take place 15 minutes ahead of each climbing start time.

9.30am                      - (Youth B and D only)
12.00pm                    - (Youth E only)
1.30pm                      - (Youth A and C only)
