Then come along to this free BMC outdoor meet for children and their parents.
Organised by one of the BMC Yorkshire Area Youth Co-ordinators, this event is for young people and their parents who might want to meet other people in a similar situation and make new contacts. There will also be fun navigation, and map and compass, sessions run by BMC members who are experienced hill goers.

Sunday 23rd May 2010 from 10am to 4pm.
Meeting at a venue in Ilkely in Yorkshire at 10am.
Content
Parents will take part in navigation activities with their own children supported by BMC members from the Area between 10am and 4pm. Additionally, parents and their children will be introduced to:
· Others with similar interests
· Local BMC members with in depth knowledge of the area
There is camping nearby so that families who want to make a weekend away out of the meet could easily do that.
