Bouldering at the Roaches
The meet was for children and parents. All the children had experience of climbing but some had not climbed outside before.
Twenty young people together with their parents were shown the potential of the superb bouldering at the Roaches. Small groups explored different areas of the crag with bouldering mats trying problems as they went - see the photograph.
Mandy was ably assisted by BMC volunteers, including partner Mark.
The meet was part of a larger Roaches open day organised by the BMC.
