Danion and Lama win European Bouldering Championship

Juliette Danion (FRA) and David Lama (AUT) have been crowned the new European Bouldering Champions.

They put in impressive performances against a very strong field in the semi-finals and finals, today at Climb 07. Brit hope Dave Barrans climbed well in the semi-finals, but didn't make the final.

Male Results:

1. David Lama (AUT)
2. Nalle Hukkataival (FIN)
3. Tomas Mrazek (CZE)

Female Results:

1. Juliette Danion (FRA)
2. Olga Shalagina (UKR)
3. Olga Bezhko (UKR)

Many of the competitors are staying on for the Climbing Works International Masters (CWIM), next weekend, so if you're in the Sheffield area, pop in to check some of these beasts out!
